part of the Province, lakes, highlands, beaches, Central Ontario towns and villages can all be covered by daily trips out.
Orillia has it's own Opera House, a thriving Museaum of Art and History and it's own Leacock Museum - the former summer cottage
of the Author Stephen Leacock. Two large lakeside parks - Tudhope PArk being a few minutes walk from the house. The Canadian
Shield starts about 10 kilometres north of Orillia.

with tub and shower and grab rails for elderly people.

quiet and safe?
Answer: The bedrooms have sound insulation in the walls and are

Answer: Yes - no worries!
We are on City water supply and sewers. We have plenty of hot water and high pressure in the taps. All our bath faucets are
"scald guard" which prevents hot and cold surges from other users. The kitchen fridge has ice and filtered water
on the door.

a buffet is set up for 24 hour beverages, a fridge, table and comfortable chairs, snacks and CHOCOLATE CAKES! Concierge items

key and encourage you to come and go as you wish. We ask you to come in quietly if you are late in consideration of other
guests.
Question: Do we have to leave after breakfast and not return until the evening if we are staying
more than one day?
Answer: No. We like to see our guests enjoy our property, which has many of the attractions
of a resort. There is a canoe and paddleboat for guests to use. Swimming is fine from the dock as is fishing. There are bikes
and we also have an electric scooter seniors can borrow to allow you full use of the 9 kilometer Millennium Trail system which
starts close by. A shallow swimming beach is at the top of the road in Tudhope Park. Nothing is nicer than a relaxing day
in the Adirondack chairs in either shade or sun with a beverage of choice in hand and a good book. Please note we do make
up rooms at about 11:00.
Question: What is check in and check out time?
Answer: Unless
by previous arrangement we ask guests to check in before 1:00 or after 5:00. This allows us time to go shopping or get out
in the afternoon. Checking in before 1:00 allows guests to take advantage of the facilities for the afternoon. Check out time
from the room is 11:00 – this gives us time to prepare the room for incoming guests. You are quite welcome to stay in
the gardens longer and there is an “anybodies” washroom on the main floor.
